Our 1st Step

Sharon and I have always been interested in bettering ourselves. We've attended a number of relationship/marriage seminars and weekends, read a lot of books, and share the desire to improve ourselves and our marriage. Plus, we had salted away a number of dollars and were starting to pay attention to 'retirement income projections' and the like.

All of that changed in June of 2007 in Tacoma, Washington.

A friend of ours had given Sharon a book written by T. Harv Eker called 'Secrets of the Millionaire Mind'. There was also a CD set which we bought. After looking throught the book and listening to the CD, we knew that we had to go to the FREE three day seminar. So we went.

Three thousand people, constant flow of speakers, sound, dancing, worksheets, interactions with ourselves and a lot of people we had never met - unbelievable. Three thousand people in search of information - and change! Dynamite! Connection! Wow!

We left that conference celebration with so much positive energy and focus. And something else!

We left it with knowledge. New knowledge. New knowledge about funding for our retirement years and how to do it. We learned the secret...And the secret is PBI which stands for passive business income. Which stands for someone who you have directly (or indirectly) trained or funded doing the work and YOU get paid for it! Of course, they get paid as well. But the bottom line is you don't have to show up at 9 o'clock and stay until ? 5 o'clock. You don't have the headaches, the aggravation, the paperwork, the *^%%$%# that goes along with 'running' the business!

You receive passive business income from the active operation of the business by others. You receive a check (not a paycheck!) on a regular basis whether you're out hiking the Sierras, or in a hospital bed, or on a Seabourne yacht on the Mediterranean. It is passive!

The course recommended many different sources of passive income. So...that's what we're doing. One at a time. But do you know what? We ran into a problem. Our first true source of passive income turned out to be Nu Skin Enterprises, Inc. This company has two products which will be part of everyone's future very soon. Home run products! And it shares its profits with its distributors - $480 million in 2006.

So, what's the problem we ran into? Well...the course mentioned multiple sources of passive business income but NSE is going to make us such a s---load of money we aren't going to need any more sources. The only requirement to be successful in this business is a strong desire to have no financial concerns ever again. My wife and I possesses a great deal of this desire which in only six months has translated into success. And you know what? It's just the very, very beginning...
