The Answer...

I'm an eye surgeon. We make a lot of money doing Lasik and cataract surgery. We do. It's something I always assumed would be there - doctors get paid well. But, we do have to work hard. Or rather work long... Night calls and weekends, trips to the ER, hospital rounds constantly, constantly, constantly. The money is fair.

However, what's not fair is that all of this can end in a flash. If I get sick. If I get 'let go'. If I get disenchanted with seeing eye patients. I get nothing. Nothing! Because I have to show up to get paid. My physical presence is a requirement of my income. Don't get sick, Dave. Don't go on a vacation, Dave. Don't 'take a day off', Dave. Because...you won't get paid!

Plus, I am working for someone else's dream. Not my own. Another doctor's. I can work my butt off and still make the same amount of money, enjoy (?) the same degree of instant termination, and being doing nothing for myself and my lovely wife.

Well, things are going to change. I became a Nu Skin distributor in 2007 and have absolutely, positively found the answer to my problems. And your problems! It cost nothing to join and now we make a lot of money. This is a good thing. I don't want an uncertain future. I don't want my wife to get sick and can't afford to pay for the best treatment. Forget the Lamborghinis, I just want peace of mind!

The company that I joined has the answer. We are so incredibly happy with this gift that God has given us and that we can share with our new friends, whose lives we can so, so enhance. It is such a blessing to help so many people.

If you're like most people, it's trashed a week later. Good intentions are only good intentions unless you get off your butt and do something about it! The most important day in your life is today! The most important 30 minutes is the next 30 minutes!We make decisions every day, thousands of them. But the biggest decision is how we spend our time. Are we doing the same ole stuff every day and expecting different results? That would be the definition of 'insanity'.

Our 1st Step

Sharon and I have always been interested in bettering ourselves. We've attended a number of relationship/marriage seminars and weekends, read a lot of books, and share the desire to improve ourselves and our marriage. Plus, we had salted away a number of dollars and were starting to pay attention to 'retirement income projections' and the like.

All of that changed in June of 2007 in Tacoma, Washington.

A friend of ours had given Sharon a book written by T. Harv Eker called 'Secrets of the Millionaire Mind'. There was also a CD set which we bought. After looking throught the book and listening to the CD, we knew that we had to go to the FREE three day seminar. So we went.

Three thousand people, constant flow of speakers, sound, dancing, worksheets, interactions with ourselves and a lot of people we had never met - unbelievable. Three thousand people in search of information - and change! Dynamite! Connection! Wow!

We left that conference celebration with so much positive energy and focus. And something else!

We left it with knowledge. New knowledge. New knowledge about funding for our retirement years and how to do it. We learned the secret...And the secret is PBI which stands for passive business income. Which stands for someone who you have directly (or indirectly) trained or funded doing the work and YOU get paid for it! Of course, they get paid as well. But the bottom line is you don't have to show up at 9 o'clock and stay until ? 5 o'clock. You don't have the headaches, the aggravation, the paperwork, the *^%%$%# that goes along with 'running' the business!

Well...the course mentioned multiple sources of passive business income but NSE is going to make us such a s---load of money we aren't going to need any more sources. The only requirement to be successful in this business is a strong desire to have no financial concerns ever again. My wife and I possesses a great deal of this desire which in only six months has translated into success. And you know what? It's just the very, very beginning...

We have created this blog as a source for inspiration and direction in changing one's life for the better. Every day we are presented with hundreds of opportunities involving our life path. It is so easy to continue down the same road, make the same decisions, treat people the same way, etc.

That is just SO wrong!

We need to continually examine what we're doing and how we're feeling. We must look at where we are and where we will be. And unless you're perfect, you need to change!

Change is difficult! It doesn't come easy! But if we don't change, we don't grow. We don't evolve. We don't become all that we can.

And that's what this is all about - changing yourself - for the better!
